Third slab Dry Ribs and Beef Brisket Platter. The ribs are neutral. They're more sustenance than food that elicits a mouth watering response. I could take it or leave it this Memphis style ribs. If this is similar to the ribs that Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous serves, I don't feel I've been missing out.
The brisket is a high quality brisket and great for those that like lean brisket, but whoever smoked this falls well short of being a master. The brisket is dry, at least yesterday's leftovers. Zero juiciness. Where's the salt and pepper? No pink smoke ring. It's the least palatable brisket I've had from a big name BBQ joint in a long time. This rates a 1 star.
The coleslaw and the baked beans are bland.
Everything tastes more look institutional food than food made with love.
