Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissant. This is the most popular sandwich this morning. Almost all are gone but other sandwiches remain piled high in the display case. Three people behind me in line also order it. Why is that so? Is it that good? Well, it's only 50 cents more than the Egg and Cheese Croissant, and the more appealing sandwiches cost at least an additional 2 to 3 dollars. People want value.
The server asks what I want. I tell her and she grabs it with a pair of tong and plops it into a toaster oven. A couple three minutes later, my sandwich is ready. The croissant is pretty tasty, crispy not flaccid, and the egg, cheese, and bacon are decent. It's better than I expected.
