I walk in with low expectations. The facade appears run down. The interior isn't that much better, the decor dating back at least 30 years. The booth fabric seat back has a massive 2 ft horizontal tear.
Three Pound Burrito with pork, pinto and black beans, corn, lettuce, and tomato. The burrito has a generous portion of tastier tender pork with some semblance of Mexican spices. Better than expected.
Cinco Sampler Platter. A pork tamale with verde, a seafood enchilada suiza, a chicken enchilada with adobo, a hard shell beef taco, Mexican rice and pinto beans. Again everything here tastes better than expected. No stand outs but every thing tells me the cook cares. I'm happy with this sampler.
