I've walked by Tuscany may times but always passed by due to the carb rich expensive entrees. That plus the reviews falls short. Today I stop in and spy lower cost sandwiches that appear to have protein and put aside the reviews.
Tacchinno - something. Turkey is what it is. It's a few slices of deli turkey, bacon, and cheese on a flatbread. The flatbread tastes slightly over toasted. Heavy on carbs. It's OK but not $14 OK. The parmigiana shoe string fries are lukewarm and fairly tasty but I'm missing the parmigiana taste.
Service is quite pleasant but the food is terribly overpriced. As I've said before, Italian restaurant owners are the most business savvy restaurants owners. Carbs - a few cents to buy. Markup - HUGE. What makes the public believe Italian food is worth a premium?
