Random Order Pie Bar is young and hipsterfied. Down east a few hundred feet is Petite Provence mainstream. But with hipsters as far as the eye can see, isn't hipster the mainstream?
Oregon Cherry Pie. This was the first cherry pie I liked. The filling was fresh, and mildly tart and mildly sweet. It was freshly fantastic sans the overdosed gooey starchy glue. A halfway flaky and minutest buttery pie crust. It was different style cherry pie but undoubtedly my favorite cherry pie I've had to date. That's saying a lot or maybe not given my history with cherry pie. Damage: $4.75. 3 stars
