Braised Rabbit with Farro was the evening's special. At $26, it had better be special. I was undecided between ordering the Quail and the Rabbit, and the waitress swayed me toward the rabbit saying it was Jenn Louis's favorite protein.I shouldn't have been surprised the dish came out with two Cornish hen sized hindquarters. The rabbit was less tender than expected for a braised protein. I struggled scraping the meat off the bones with Western utensils. The flavoring and seasonings were too subtle for unsophisticated palate to pick up. It reminded me of chicken cooked in a mild chicken broth. The farro was more seasoned offering nutty, crunchy, chewy, and savory mouthfuls. 3 stars.
