Charcuterie boards are assembled to make the average diner feel ignorant. The servers throw esoteric cheese and meat names I barely remember fancy food names but my taste buds tell me the venison and blue cheese are the standout items.
The Bouillabaisse is a bigger plate option but hardly meets that definition, filled to only a third with mussels, clams, prawns, octopus, and fish. The broth was mildly flavorful and ordinary. The bread was smashing - crispy, crunchy, smeared with a full flavored addictive garlic aioli. Overall, a let down for the price point.
Pork Shank Adobo. The pork was moderately tender with hints of star anise and five spice. This dish was competent but didn't have the wow factor. Too Asian flavored without being authentic or being pleasing Asian.
Overall 3.25 stars.
