Yuki & Song is a mom and pop restaurant that I've dined at a few times. Every time traffic was light and I wondered if they would survive.

 

Chirashi with salmon, unagi, and octopus. Fresh, tasty, comforting.  This bowl made me want to return.

Mar 25, 2015. 7:08 PM. In the past I selected their Japanese offerings all found tasty and comforting. This time I ordered a Korean dish.

I've eaten so much all you can eat buffet sushi that I've forgotten the quality and tastiness of made to order sushi.

Short Ribs. The short ribs needed significantly more time braising or whatever cooking technique used to tenderize the meat. A sharp edged knife was needed. Failing that, I regressed to uncivilized hand and teeth to separate the pieces. The texture was stringy, rough, and amiss. The taste was the familiar standard Asian/Korean/Chinese soy sauce like flavor. I'll stick with their Japanese offerings in the future.
